Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring at least 2 years of intraoperative circulation and scrub experience and PA or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
• Primary case types include Orthopedics (Joints, Spine, Sports Injury) and General Surgery
• Day shifts available, starting as early as 6:30 am, with the latest scheduled shift ending at 7:30 pm
• Eight-hour shifts with no call or weekend requirements
• Requires experience with Epic EMR; Epic experience is heavily preferred

Requirements

• Active PA or compact state RN license with no disciplinary actions
• AHA or ARC BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of direct intraoperative circulating and scrub RN experience
• Strong experience in orthopedic and general surgical cases
• EPIC charting experience strongly preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing for OR procedures with a focus on ortho and general surgeries
• Pre-assignment modules must be completed prior to the start date
• Applicants must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates; locals considered at a lower rate
• RTO should be minimized to 7 days maximum per contract
• Pairs are permitted but matched schedules cannot be guaranteed
