Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring an OH or compact RN license and the ability to float to multiple campuses.

Details

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
• Night shift position with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5
• Willingness to float to other ICU units at additional campuses (Bucyrus & Galion) is required if needed
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• On-call may be required with a maximum 1-hour response time

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required; pending licenses will not be considered
• Minimum 2 years of recent and consecutive ICU experience in a hospital or acute care setting
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS required
• Knowledge of medication scanning required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Must be able to pass a smoke-free facility policy

Additional Information

• No time off will be approved during major holidays or specified blackout dates
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off will be considered per assignment
• Pre-start completion of up to 8 hours of required modules through HealthStream
• Former permanent employees must wait at least 6 months before being eligible for rehire
• First-time travelers may be considered
