American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Urology Outpatient Clinic position requiring at least one year of recent RN experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Outpatient clinic setting specializing in urology
• Located within a Level I trauma center and teaching facility
• Day shift schedule: 5x8 hour shifts, 8:00am - 4:30pm, with holiday coverage as needed
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Floating may be required to similar units or sister facilities based on needs
• Uses Epic EMR; previous Epic experience required

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a relevant setting
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• ONS certification preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Must have Epic EMR experience
• Radiation badge required; must be provided by the traveler’s agency
• Applicants must provide proof of SSN and driver’s license
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate
• Previous permanent staff or PRN must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before applying
• First-time travelers will not be considered

Additional Information

• Provide urology-focused nursing care and assist with clinic procedures
• Work collaboratively with a supportive, multidisciplinary team in an academic environment
• Participation in ongoing education and training is encouraged
• All RNs must wear solid royal blue or a white top with royal blue bottoms
• Pre-assignment online modules (approximately 4 hours) must be completed before start
• All required time off must be declared during application; late time off requests may not be accommodated
• During hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams if needed
• Paid parking available with a permit from parking management office
