American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a critical need night shift position in California, requiring a current CA RN license and recent ICU experience.

Details

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• Utilizes EPIC EMR for charting
• Patient care involves critical and high acuity cases

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at the time of consideration
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time ICU experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field preferred
• Two years of recent ICU experience preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale certification and CCRN preferred
• Experience with dialysis or SLED preferred
• Must provide last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include critical care nursing for a diverse adult ICU population
• Must have active licenses and certifications at the time of consideration; pending licenses are not accepted
• Assignment utilizes EPIC for all documentation and EMR tasks
• Internal HR tenure policy limits assignment duration; candidates cannot exceed two years of total service without a 90-day break
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
