Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring recent Epic proficiency and competency in circulator and PACU roles.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
• Patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Case types include orthopedics, C-sections, limited other gynecologic procedures, general surgeries, podiatry, robotic procedures, and endoscopy
• Day shifts are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with schedule variability based on caseload
• On-call required every 3rd to 4th weekend and one weekday, with frequency based on department needs
• Epic EMR is utilized; proficiency required

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license, or eligibility for licensure
• Minimum 1 year of relevant RN experience
• Proficiency in Epic EMR within the past year in a similar unit required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Ability to function independently in circulator and PACU roles

Additional Information

• Epic orientation and testing required if previous Epic experience was not at Parkview Hospital
• Responsibilities include circulating for various surgical procedures and providing PACU care
• Must be prepared to care for diverse patient populations from pediatric to geriatric
• Travel experience not required
• First-time travelers will be considered
