American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on an Acute Neuro Unit with required BLS and NIHSS certifications and a GA or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Acute Neuro Unit within a hospital setting
• Position is on a Med/Surg unit with a neurological patient population
• 12-hour day shifts, schedule 0700-1930, three shifts per week
• 13-week contract assignment
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active GA or compact state RN license required
• Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• Preferred ACLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience within the Med/Surg specialty
• No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility

Additional Information

• Care for patients with neurological medical and surgical needs
• Permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break before becoming eligible
• Requested time off (RTO) must be provided up front and cannot be changed after offer
• First-time travelers are not excluded from consideration
