American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a KY or compact state license and at least 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• Day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm
• On-call responsibilities are required

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license without any disciplinary actions
• At least 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications must be active and not expiring during the assignment
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required by start date
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training required and may be completed onsite
• Candidates must provide proof of full COVID and Flu vaccination prior to start
• Only US Social Security Numbers accepted; no Canadian SSNs will be considered
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care and monitoring in the Cath Lab environment
• Participate in a collaborative team delivering cardiac procedures and interventions
• Orientation to facility and department provided upon arrival
• All RNs must complete CPI modules onsite if not already certified
• Explanations required for employment gaps of 3 months or longer
• Holiday coverage may be required based on department needs
