American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele Stroke Unit night shift position, requiring an active AL or compact RN license and recent neurology or cardiac care experience.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based Med/Surg Tele Stroke Unit specializing in heart and stroke patient care
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patients present with cardiac and neurological conditions
• EMR system is Meditech
• Orientation hours included at the beginning of the contract
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate with no mileage restrictions

Requirements

• Active AL or compact RN license required; temporary or pending licenses not accepted
• No license hits allowed, current or past
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required, with at least 1 year recent experience in the relevant specialty
• Current resume/application, completed skills checklist, at least 2 references from the past year, license verification, and valid driver's license required for consideration

• Virtual orientation will include competency-based modules as part of the onboarding process
• Team supports heart and stroke patient care with an emphasis on continuous education and training
• Timekeeping is managed using Centricity
• No trauma or ICU testing required for this unit
• First-time travelers will be considered
