Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Room assignment in Oregon requiring recent acute care and ER experience, along with specific certifications.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• 12-hour varied shifts for a total of 36 hours per week
• Weekend and on-call schedules will be determined by the facility

Requirements

• Current Oregon RN license or willingness to obtain prior to start
• At least 2 years of recent emergency department experience required
• Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 2 years required
• Valid ACLS, BLS, PALS (AHA), and TNCC certifications required or willingness to obtain prior to start

Additional Information

• Responsible for applying the nursing process to patient care within the RN scope as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing
• Teach patients and significant others and participate in care documentation
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
• Requests for RTO (time off) are limited to no more than 5 days
