Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a home health position requiring OASIS and EPIC experience in Florida or a compact state.

Details

• Work in an adult home health care setting
• Caseload of 27 to 30 cases per day
• Regular schedule is Monday through Friday with rotation for five weekend shifts every six weeks
• Day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No floating required
• May require on-call coverage
• Post-operative surgical home health cases including orthopedic and general surgery
• Experience with Pleurx drains is required
• EMR used is Epic; experience required

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required at time of consideration (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years recent Medicare home health RN experience required
• Post-operative surgical home health experience is required
• OASIS experience required
• Experience using Epic EMR required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Flu vaccine required from 10/31–3/31 unless medical or religious exemption is provided
• Two professional references from a supervisor, manager, charge nurse, or director within the last year are required

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care for adult home health patients including those with post-op and surgical needs
• No minimum distance/radius rule; locals accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Must not have been internally contracted, staffed, or employed in the past year
• Solid color scrubs required; top and bottom must match with no logos or prints
• Free parking provided with decal assigned at orientation
• Timekeeping via Kronos badge swipe system
