American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Holding RN with critical care cardiac experience and Epic proficiency for weekday day shifts.

Details

• Work in the Cath Lab Holding area in a hospital setting
• Care for patients pre and post minimally invasive cardiac procedures including coronary angioplasty, stents, IABP, Impella, electrophysiology studies, and EP device implants
• Use of cardiac drips and management of patients receiving cardiac interventions
• Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour weekdays; shifts may vary between 7am and 7pm
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Epic EMR proficiency is mandatory

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license in hand is required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in Critical Care, Emergency Services, Cardiac Cath Lab, Pre-Post Care Unit or Cardiac Rehab preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
• Proficiency with Epic EMR is required
• No previous license or background issues accepted

Additional Information

• Responsible for pre and post-procedure care of cardiac Cath Lab patients
• Must be experienced with care and medication management related to minimally invasive cardiac procedures
• No weekend or on-call commitments are expected
• Candidates must provide two professional references for consideration
• A current NURSYS report, driver's license, and social security card are required during the hiring process
