Description

American Traveler is seeking a Behavioral Health RN with strong pediatric experience, a compact or MD RN license, and BCLS certification.

Details

• Work in the Behavioral Health unit within a psychiatric hospital setting
• Focus on child and adolescent patient populations
• Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Weekend shifts required every other weekend
• Floating within scope to other behavioral health units as needed
• Uses Sunrise electronic medical record system
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license issued by Maryland or a compact state
• BCLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of behavioral health nursing experience
• Strong experience working with pediatric or adolescent patients
• Fingerprinting must be completed in Maryland prior to start

• May be required to act as charge RN during shifts
• Scrub color is navy blue
