Description

American Traveler is seeking a Behavioral Health RN with pediatric and med surg experience, holding active MO and KS or compact RN licenses, for a night shift at a pediatric behavioral health unit.

Details

• Work in a pediatric behavioral health unit within an inpatient hospital setting
• Patient ratios are typically 1:3 or 1:4
• Position requires both behavioral/psychiatric and med surg care of pediatric patients
• Night shifts available, 3x12 or 4x12 hour options (19:00-07:30)
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate

Requirements

• Active MO and KS RN licenses or a valid compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current PALS and BLS certifications required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Med surg and behavioral/psychiatric nursing experience required
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Two supervisory references completed within the last 12 months required
• Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
• Documents required: SS card and driver's license
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Additional Information

• Will deliver nursing care to pediatric patients with behavioral health and medical-surgical needs
• This is a nicotine-free campus and nicotine testing is conducted
• Both orientation and support provided on the unit
