American Traveler is hiring an RN with recent psychiatric experience for a night shift Behavioral Health position caring for children, adolescents, and adults.

Details

• Work in a Behavioral Health unit serving children, adolescents, and adults
• Night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00 - 7:30)
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• May be required to work every other weekend
• Must be open to working with all patient age groups
• EMR system used is Epic

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 1.5 to 2 years of recent psychiatric or behavioral health RN experience required
• Strong adolescent and child psychiatric experience preferred; otherwise, at least 2 years' experience including travel is required
• Epic charting experience required
• Willingness to provide care across multiple units and age populations

Additional Information

• May receive CPI training on site
• Could be expected to step in as charge nurse if needed
• Team support includes shift supervisor, CNO, nurse manager onsite, and someone on call
• Must provide two professional references
• Dress code and additional onboarding requirements will be provided upon hire
• Local candidates within 50 miles will receive a different pay rate
