American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department assignment requiring a NY RN license and recent ED experience.

Details

• Position is in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Work schedule is night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week assignment
• EMR system used is Epic and prior experience with Epic is required
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• More than 3 call outs in a 13 week period may result in contract termination and make up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks from the last call out

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required
• Certifications must be from AHA or RQI
• Epic EMR experience required
• Applicants must have no gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN not accepted
• Facility only allows medical exemptions for flu vaccination, signed by a licensed professional

Additional Information

• Competency testing may be required depending on experience or department
• Candidates residing within 50 miles in specific counties (Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, Washington) are not eligible
• RTO (time off) requests must be submitted with application
• First time travelers are considered
• Travel pairs are not allowed
