Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health RN with a compact or MD license and BCLS certification for a Psychiatric unit.

Details

• Position is located in a psychiatric hospital Behavioral Health unit
• Shifts include 4x8 hour evenings (15:00-23:30) or days (7:00-15:30)
• Every other weekend coverage is required
• Expectation to float to inpatient units based on patient census
• May be required to work as charge RN during shifts
• Charting is done using Sunrise EMR

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license
• BCLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of behavioral health/psychiatric RN experience
• Fingerprinting must be completed in MD prior to start
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Nursing staff at The Retreat wear business casual attire unless floated, in which case navy scrubs are required
• Travelers are expected to swap shifts with coworkers if new or additional time-off is requested after contract approval
• No on-call requirements
• Must be prepared to fulfill charge RN duties when assigned without additional compensation
