Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a PCU/Stepdown position requiring 2+ years of experience, BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications, with a KY or compact RN license.

Details

• PCU/Stepdown (Progressive Care Unit) in a hospital setting
• Patient ratios of 1:5 or 1:6
• Day shift: 07:00–19:30 (12-hour shifts)
• 36/48-hour weekly rotation schedule (36 hours one week, 48 hours the next)
• Meditech EMR

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only), and NIH Stroke Scale
• Minimum 2 years of current PCU/Stepdown experience required
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Orientation is held on a bi-weekly basis
• 13-week assignment
