American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract in Albany, NY, requiring a current NY RN license and a minimum of 2 years of OR experience.

• Operating Room (OR) setting at a major academic medical center in Albany, NY
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NY State RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• All certifications must be issued by AHA or RQI
• US Social Security Number required — Canadian SIN not accepted
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Flu vaccination required — only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted; personal or religious declinations will not be honored

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility and outside the following counties: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington
• No blocked scheduling is permitted
• More than 3 call-outs within the contract period may result in termination; any required make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks of the last call-out
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application
• Travel pairs are not allowed for this position
