Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Ambulatory Care position supporting UCI ambulatory clinics post-Epic go-live, requiring Epic experience and a valid CA RN license.

Details

• Work is performed across UCI ambulatory clinic locations, with the specific site TBD at time of assignment
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour shifts with start times of 7:30 AM or 8:00 AM
• Role supports ambulatory care clinics in a post-Epic go-live environment
• Epic EMR experience is required for this position

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• At least 1 year of experience in an acute care setting required
• At least 1 year of full-time equivalent experience in ambulatory care or the relevant specialty within the past 2 years required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Cerner charting experience required
• Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam (up to 3 attempts allowed)
• At least one supervisory, director, or manager reference from within the past year required
• A second professional reference within the past 2 years (charge nurse, co-worker, or educator) required

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers — no radius restriction applies
• No RTO (time off requests) permitted within the first 2 weeks of the assignment
• Candidates who have previously worked at UCI must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• No blocked scheduling or self-scheduling is permitted
