American Traveler is seeking an experienced Psychiatric RN for a Behavioral Health position specializing in adolescent mood disorders, with night shift availability and a willingness to float within scope.

Details

• Psychiatric hospital setting with 337 staffed beds
• Behavioral Health unit specializing in adolescent mood disorders
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• Every other weekend required
• Floating within scope required to meet facility needs
• No on-call responsibilities
• Charting system: Sunrise
• Local candidates are accepted

Requirements

• Active RN license — Maryland or Compact state license required
• Minimum 2 years of Behavioral Health RN experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Fingerprinting must be completed in Maryland prior to start

Additional Information

• RNs may be assigned charge RN responsibilities during a shift
• 13-week contract (approximately)
• Navy blue scrubs required
