American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU/Pre-Op/Phase 2 position at an acute care teaching hospital in Minnesota, requiring at least 3 years of PACU experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Acute care teaching hospital setting at a Level 3 trauma center with 317 staffed beds
• PACU/Pre-Op/Phase 2 unit
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift with variable start times of 7:00, 8:00, 9:30, or 11:00; shift lengths of 8 or 12 hours
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including potential float to affiliate hospitals nearby
• Block scheduling may be considered
• Charting via Epic (Excellian) — experience required
• Scrubs provided by the unit

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required; pending license accepted
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 3 years of PACU experience required
• Epic (Excellian) EMR experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
• 1 supervisor reference required for consideration
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Candidates who have previously worked at this health system as permanent staff or per diem must have been separated for at least 3 months from their last shift before being eligible
• Pre-start modules are required to be completed before the first day of the assignment
• RTO requests are ideally limited to no more than 5 days for the duration of the contract
