American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a day shift travel contract requiring combined adult/pediatric ED experience, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.

• Hospital-based Emergency Department setting
• Combined adult and pediatric patient population
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Preferred certifications: TNCC, CPI, and MAB
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required, with both adult and pediatric ED experience
• Proficiency in triage, IV starts, and phlebotomy required
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Must pass a Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
