Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab position in Des Moines, IA, requiring at least 24 months of EP experience and an active IA or compact RN license.

Details

• EP Lab setting within a hospital environment
• 4x10-hour day shifts with a 7:00 AM start time, 40 hours per week
• No on-call requirements
• Weekend requirements are TBD and as needed
• Epic CUPID is the EMR used; experience is preferred
• Floating to a sister facility (Iowa Lutheran) is required as needed

Requirements

• Active IA RN license or compact/multistate RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
• Current ACLS certification from AHA or ARC required
• Minimum 24 months of recent experience in EP, Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL), or Interventional Radiology (IR) required
• EP Lab experience required; Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred
• Epic CUPID EMR experience preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• One supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates who were employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for this position
• Travelers must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the full travel pay rate
• Travel experience is desired but not required; first-time travelers may be considered
• Holiday coverage is expected — travelers are required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's)
