American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Neuro unit (8C) night shift position requiring a minimum of one year of nursing experience, Epic charting experience, and an active Illinois RN license.

Details

• Inpatient Neuro unit (8C) in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week, three 12-hour shifts per day
• Epic EMR — experience required

Requirements

• Active IL RN license in good standing (temp license accepted)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum one (1) year of relevant RN experience
• Epic charting experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Associate's degree (ASN) required; BSN preferred
• English proficiency required (speaking, reading, writing)

Additional Information

• Provides patient-centered care using the nursing process, including initial assessment, care plan development, implementation, and ongoing modification
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date documentation to support continuity of care across the healthcare team
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract
• Contingent workers may not remain on assignment for more than one continuous year at any Carle Health location; a 6-month break in service is required before returning
