American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric IV Therapy Vascular Access Team position at a Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma pediatric hospital in Boston, requiring ultrasound-guided IV placement skills and prior pediatric vascular access experience.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting, Magnet-designated with a Level I Trauma designation and NICU Level III/IV
• Assigned to the Pediatric IV Therapy Vascular Access Team serving a pediatric to adult patient population
• Patient population includes Hematology/Oncology and ICU-level acuity cases
• Requires ultrasound-guided IV placement and vein finder equipment proficiency
• Charting performed in Epic
• 13-week contract
• Day/night rotation with 12-hour shifts; start times at 7:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 3:00 PM
• Shift rotations include 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, 11:00 AM–11:30 PM, and 3:00 PM–3:30 AM
• Weekend shifts required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Prior pediatric vascular access team experience required (e.g., Heme/Onc, ICU)
• Proficiency in ultrasound-guided IV placement and vein finder technology required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a local pay rate differential
