Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR Certified Surgical Technician (CST) for a 13-week surgical assignment in Texas, performing cardiovascular and endovascular procedures including open heart and thoracic specialties.

Details

• Work takes place in a hospital OR/CVOR setting with 14 OR rooms, 2 dedicated heart rooms, and 1 hybrid OR
• Specialty focus includes endovascular, open heart, and thoracic procedures, as well as coverage of the Hybrid OR
• The endovascular/Hybrid OR service line requires a combined surgical and interventional skill set
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• On-call coverage required for the Hybrid OR

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact license currently in hand
• BLS certification required (must be AHA-issued)
• Minimum 1 year of CST experience required
• Experience with CVOR, endovascular, open heart, and thoracic procedures required
• Proficiency with hybrid OR equipment and combined surgical/interventional techniques required
• Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and a US home address
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Copy of certifications and license verification/Nursys required for consideration

• Performs CST duties across endovascular, open heart, thoracic specialties, and hybrid OR cases
• COVID vaccination is not required for this position
