Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a minimum of 2 years of RN experience, Epic proficiency, and the ability to pass a mandatory EKG exam during onboarding.

Details

• Hospital Med/Surg Tele unit with a primarily medical-surgical patient population
• Patient population includes observation, respiratory, general med/surg, palliative, end-of-life/hospice, psychiatric observation, diabetic, and surgical patients
• Epic EMR experience is mandatory
• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• Floating across facilities may be required

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during onboarding — two attempts are allowed; candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
• The unit is posted as MS/Tele due to the EKG requirement, but the primary patient population is medical-surgical
• Previous Charge RN experience is preferred
