Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on a Surgical unit at a high-acuity Level 1 trauma center, requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience.

Details

• Position is located on the 4B Surgical unit of a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center
• Patient population includes urology, gynecology, orthopedic, general medicine, surgery, trauma, ENT, and vascular cases
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• 4 weekend shifts per month are required
• Block scheduling is not approved on most units
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR experience is required

Requirements

• Active RN license — Georgia (GA) or Compact license required
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg specialty experience
• Experience in high-acuity, high-volume trauma environments required — candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Ability to manage critical, fast-paced situations with complex and diverse patient cases
