American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Surgical ICU (SICU) position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, ACLS/BLS certifications, and Epic proficiency for a 13-week night shift contract.

Details

• Work in the Surgical ICU (SICU) of an acute care hospital
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Holiday coverage expected for 1 of 2 major upcoming holidays and surrounding days (e.g., Memorial Day or July 4th)
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating may be required to other ICU floors
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active PA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Surgical ICU or comparable critical care experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates undergo a clinical pre-screening process to assess clinical fit prior to manager review; a manager interview is required
• May care for COVID-positive patients

• All time-off requests must be submitted upfront; max 7 days of RTO allowed for the contract
