American Traveler is hiring an experienced CVOR RN for a cardiovascular operating room position requiring 1+ year of CVOR experience and Level I Trauma facility background, with on-call responsibilities in an Ohio hospital setting.

Details

• Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) unit within a large academic hospital setting
• Surgical specialties include cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant cases
• Shift hours range from 6:30 AM to 11:00 PM with flexibility required to fill scheduling needs
• Weekly schedule consists of two 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts
• On-call is required and distributed equitably among staff on a 4-week rotating basis
• Weekday on-call begins at 7:00 PM; weekend on-call is divided into 12-hour blocks
• Epic EMR experience is required

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or a compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac, vascular, and transplant settings
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR-specific experience required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Level I Trauma facility required
• Proficiency in general OR, cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant procedures
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must be flexible with scheduling across a broad shift window

• Performs scrub and/or circulating duties for cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant surgical cases
• On-call volume varies monthly based on total staff count
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• Travelers changing representation do not require a 30-day break between assignments at this facility
