Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring proficiency in Cath/EP procedures and active FL or compact RN license, with on-call responsibilities including weekend coverage.

Details

• Located in a hospital Cardiac Cath Lab/EP Lab setting with 3 cath rooms and 4 EP rooms
• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (4 x 10-hour shifts)
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Procedures performed include cardiac cath (diagnostic and PCI), Watchman/LAAO, EP studies/ablation, and device implants
• Call requirements of 8–12 call shifts per month, including 2 weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
• EMR system: Meditech

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of start)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience required
• Proficiency in Cath/EP lab procedures required
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Two professional references required

• Surgical scrubs are provided
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
