American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI Lab travel position requiring advanced procedure experience and ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Details

• GI Lab unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: 5x8s, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• On-call responsibilities required in addition to regular shifts
• Procedures include advanced GI cases such as ERCP, PEG placement, EUS, Spyglass, FNA/FNB, and capsule endoscopy, as well as bronchoscopies and EBUS
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or a compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Advanced GI procedure experience required
• Ability to assist or circulate during complex GI and pulmonary procedures
• Experience with moderate sedation and pain management preferred
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Two supervisory references from within the last 3 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates residing within 150 miles of the facility are considered local and may be subject to different pay eligibility
• Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including testing for marijuana — a positive result will result in immediate cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid all substances that could cause a positive result, including CBD products
