American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a PCU/Telemetry position requiring 2 years of tele/PCU experience, Level 1 trauma background, and availability for night shifts with every other weekend coverage.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in an acute hospital setting
• Level 1 trauma center environment
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Patient ratio up to 1:4-5
• Nurses should be comfortable managing insulin drips, heparin drips, and possible cardiac drips
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license with a clean licensure record (no licensure hits accepted)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry and/or PCU experience required
• Level 1 trauma center experience required
• 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before returning as a travel nurse
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission — no RTO will be approved after submission
