American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Critical Care Float Pool ICU position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and proficiency with Epic on night shifts.

Details

• Critical Care Float Pool position within a large academic hospital system
• Nurses float to a variety of ICUs based on staffing and patient acuity, including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs (MICU x2), Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU, MICU, and NCCU
• Float policy requires floating only to units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Weekend nights (Friday/Saturday) plus one additional day
• Epic EMR proficiency required

Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• IV start proficiency required
• Telemetry experience required
• Ventilator management experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

• All time off and scheduling requests must be disclosed at the time of initial consideration
• No break-in-service required between assignments when changing representation at this facility
