Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Lab Operations Manager RN for a 13-week travel contract, requiring at least 5 years of clinical experience and 2 years of laboratory leadership.

Details

• Hospital laboratory department setting, supporting inpatient, emergency, outpatient, and clinic specimen testing
• Testing responsibilities include blood, body fluid, and tissue samples for disease diagnosis and medical conditions
• Lab operates 24 hours a day for inpatient and ER patients
• Day shift schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with occasional weekend work required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Oregon (OR) RN license required
• ASCP, AMT, or equivalent Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) certification required
• Minimum 5 years of clinical laboratory experience required
• Minimum 2 years of laboratory leadership experience required
• Hospital setting experience preferred

Additional Information

• Manages day-to-day operations of the laboratory department
• Works closely with the Laboratory Director on policy and procedural matters
• The laboratory is licensed under CLIA and accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP)
