American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a CCU (LTAC ICU) position requiring at least 1 year of ICU experience and Epic EMR proficiency, working night shifts at a hospital in South Carolina.

Details

• Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) ICU setting within a 12-bed ICU unit
• Staff are required to work across both the CCU and a 31-bed Med-Surg unit
• Patient population includes adults 18+ with diagnoses such as vent weaning, wound care, spinal cord injury, trach, and PEG
• Shift: 3x12-hour nights, 1900–0730
• Every other weekend coverage required (subject to change based on need)
• Floating to other Prisma Health units and/or campuses is required per census need; staff will only float to units for which they are qualified and competencies are documented
• Epic EMR used; minimum 1 year of Epic experience required
• Omnicell medication dispensing system in use

Requirements

• Active SC RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU/CCU experience required
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Valid driver's license and Social Security Number required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers may be considered depending on specialty experience
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the Prisma Greenville flagship hospital to be eligible for this position; candidates under 50 miles are ineligible
• This is an ICU (Adult ICU) role, which falls under Exception 2 of Prisma Health's mileage policy — the 50-mile minimum applies from the relevant flagship hospital (Prisma Greenville), not from every Prisma facility
