American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cardiovascular OR Surgical Technician (CST) for a CVOR position requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent surgical tech experience and the ability to scrub open heart and vascular cases.

Details

• Hospital-based CVOR setting focused on open heart and wired vascular surgical cases
• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (4x10-hour shifts)
• On-call required: 1–2 weekday call shifts per week from end of shift until 7:00 AM the following morning
• Weekend call required: 1 weekend every 6 weeks, covering 24 hours Saturday and 24 hours Sunday
• One working Saturday or Sunday shift per 6 weeks, typically coordinated with weekend call
• May be placed on the holiday call rotation as needed

Requirements

• OH or compact RN license — note: this is a Surgical Tech (CST) role; applicable state certification or credentials required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Surgical Technician experience required
• CVOR experience preferred
• Ability to scrub open heart and vascular cases, including wired vascular procedures
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Scrub responsibilities include open heart and vascular surgical procedures
• Travelers who have previously worked at any Cleveland Clinic location must have a gap of at least 6 months before beginning a new assignment there
• Total consecutive time at any Cleveland Clinic location may not exceed 18 months
