American Traveler is hiring a Behavioral Health RN for a psychiatric hospital setting, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience with a strong emphasis on pediatric/children's behavioral health.

Details

• Work in the Behavioral Health unit of a 337-bed psychiatric hospital
• Pediatric/children's behavioral health patient population — strong children's experience is a priority for this role
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required to any age population based on scheduling needs
• No on-call requirements
• Charting system: Sunrise
• Free parking available on campus

Requirements

• Active RN license — Maryland or Compact license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of behavioral health RN experience required
• Strong pediatric/children's behavioral health experience strongly preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card copies required for consideration
• Fingerprinting must be completed in Maryland prior to start

Additional Information

• RNs may be assigned charge nurse responsibilities during a shift as needed
• Navy blue scrubs required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

• Up to 1 pre-approved RTO request allowed during the contract
• 13-week contract
