American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Hospice Admissions position covering multiple hospital locations in the Northern Virginia area, requiring active VA or compact RN licensure and at least one year of recent hospice or case management experience.

Details

• Hospice admissions RN role covering multiple hospital sites in the Northern Virginia area
• Geriatric patient population focused on end-of-life care
• Average caseload of 5–7 patients per day
• 5 days/week schedule, 10am–7pm, with every 3rd weekend (Saturday and Sunday) required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the hub/office; flexibility with territory coverage is expected
• EMR: Netsmart (experience preferred)

Requirements

• Active VA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent hospice or case management experience required
• Completion of both required skills assessments
• Ability to travel throughout an assigned territory up to 60 miles from the hub/office

• Role focuses on hospice admissions, requiring timely documentation and communication throughout each shift
• iPad device is provided for use in the field
• Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• Scrubs required in any color; jeans are not permitted
