Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a float pool Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring Epic EMR experience and the ability to float across multiple acute care units.

• Float pool position covering a wide range of acute care units including Geriatric/Palliative Care, Orthopedics & Trauma, Medicine, Surgical, Neurology, Epilepsy & Stroke, Acute Cardiology, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Heme/Onc, Solid Organ Transplant, Thoracic Cardiovascular, Digestive Health, Acute Care Special Pathogens, and ED Boarders
• Does not include critical care (ICU) or intermediate care (IMU) units
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
• Option for 36- or 48-hour work weeks
• Block scheduling is not available for this position
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license required; pending VA license will be accepted
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must be comfortable floating across all acute care nursing areas based on staffing needs
• Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must allow 12 months to pass before returning as a traveler
