American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Med/Surg Neuro Unit travel contract in Austin, TX, requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent neuro or med/surg experience.

• Position is based in a hospital Med/Surg Neuro unit
• Day shift hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in Med/Surg or Neurology
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two references required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• No previous permanent employment with HCA Healthcare facilities in the Far West/Northern CA region (those facilities require a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience)
