Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift travel position in Washington State, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience and willingness to float to other departments.

Details

• Inpatient Med/Surg unit serving an adult patient population
• Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• 36 hours per week with the opportunity to pick up extra shifts
• Every other weekend off
• Floating to other departments on a rotation basis is required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active WA RN license or a Compact (multi-state) RN license currently in hand
• Completed and verifiable 6-hour suicide prevention training (required for Compact license holders)
• Demographics verification through Nursys (required for Compact license holders)
• Current certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Additional Information

• Familiarity with Meditech EMR is helpful but not required
• Must be a collaborative team player and willing to float to other departments in rotation
• RTO must be approved in advance and scheduled at the end of the contract
• Located near Pacific Northwest beaches and Olympic National Forest
• Local candidates are accepted for this position
