American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring at least 5 years of Level I L&D experience, 2 years of travel nursing experience, and multiple advanced certifications including NRP Advanced Provider or Instructor.

• Hospital Labor & Delivery unit setting
• Night shift, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week (40 hours/week)
• 13-week travel contract

Requirements

• Active RN license (OK state license or eNLC compact license) required
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required; 5 years of Level I L&D experience strongly preferred
• At least 2 years of travel nursing experience required
• Level I trauma experience required
• Required certifications (American Heart Association only): BLS, ACLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and NRP Advanced Provider or NRP Instructor
• Associate's Degree from an accredited nursing program required; BSN or MSN preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients, including monitoring physiological data and intervening when necessary
• Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
• Assists physicians with patient examinations, minor diagnostic procedures, and treatment
• Administers medications and manages IV infusions and blood products
• Collaborates with patients and families regarding care plans, hospital procedures, and discharge planning
• Delegates appropriate tasks to support staff
• Prior travelers who have completed a contract at this facility must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible for a new contract
• Compliance onboarding (background checks, drug screens, medical requirements) must be completed promptly — start dates will not be negotiated after booking
• All certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association
