American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuroscience Med/Surg unit position requiring Epic EMR experience and an active Illinois RN license.

Details

• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Weekend shifts on a rotation basis
• Holiday shifts on a rotation basis
• Floating may be required to other Carle Health system hospitals in the area

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license in good standing (temp license accepted)
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

• Responsible for patient assessment, plan of care development, nursing interventions, and continuous evaluation of patient outcomes
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date documentation for use by the full healthcare team
• Contributes to a culture of safety by identifying and reporting hazards or incidents
• Supports peer professional development through constructive feedback and collaborative knowledge sharing
• Candidates who have been on continuous assignment with Carle Health for 1 year must take a 6-month break in service before returning to any Carle Health location
• RTO not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract
