Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital case management setting, requiring Epic proficiency and a valid CA RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Case Management unit
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Floating between like units and all facilities within the state is required based on need
• 2 weekends required every 6 weeks
• No on-call requirements
• Epic EMR used; experience required
• Free parking available on-site
• Local candidates are accepted

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of case management nursing experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Active professional license at time of consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are considered on a case-by-case basis with clinical approval
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in assignment termination
• All RTO requests must be submitted upfront; post-offer RTO requests may be denied
