American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week travel contract at a regional academic medical center in Huntington, WV, requiring ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIH certifications with prior critical care experience.

Details

• ICU position within a 303-bed regional academic medical center serving patients from over 29 counties across West Virginia, eastern Kentucky, and southern Ohio
• 3x12-hour rotating day and night shifts (7:00–19:00 / 19:00–7:00)
• Shift rotation cadence varies — could be a month of one shift, two weeks, or occasional one-week swaps, but shifts never rotate within the same week
• Self-scheduling available
• Cerner EMR experience highly preferred

Requirements

• Active WV or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, CPI, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 1 year of ICU or critical care experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• PDF copies of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration
