Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Behavioral Health (Psychiatric) position at a trauma disorders unit, with at least 2 years of experience and every-other-weekend availability required.

Details

• Psychiatric hospital setting with 337 staffed beds
• Behavioral Health unit specializing in trauma disorders
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating within scope to any age population is required based on scheduling needs
• Charting system: Sunrise
• Free parking available throughout the campus

Requirements

• Active RN license — Maryland or Compact license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Fingerprinting must be completed in Maryland prior to start
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• RNs may be required to serve in a charge RN capacity during assigned shifts
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Local candidates are accepted
• Up to 1 pre-approved RTO request allowed during the contract
