Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiology Physician Practice Nurse position in Raleigh, NC, requiring an active NC or compact RN license and at least one year of nursing experience.

Details

• Outpatient cardiology clinic setting, part of a network of North Carolina Heart & Vascular locations affiliated with a major hospital system
• Day shift, 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday
• 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
• No on-call, weekend, or holiday requirements
• Cardiology experience preferred

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of North Carolina (NC or compact license required)
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited school of nursing required; BSN or MSN preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Previous experience in a physician office, urgent care, or emergency department is preferred
• Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, interdisciplinary collaboration, discharge planning, and point-of-care testing
• Works within an interdisciplinary team to coordinate and deliver patient care using the nursing process
• Applies cultural and ethnic sensitivity in planning and delivering patient care
