Description

American Traveler is hiring a CVOR RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring at least 1 year of OR experience with Neuro and Ortho/Spine background and an active TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a 7-suite Surgery/OR unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge RN, 6-7 RNs, 6-7 CSTs, an orderly, and anesthesia techs; night shift includes 1 RN and 1 CST
• Estimated patient ratio of 1:1
• Uses various OR equipment and Meditech EMR
• 13-week assignment with a 7A-7P shift on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays
• Call requirement of approximately 10 to 15 days per month for CV cases

Requirements

• Lic: Active TX or compact RN license required
• Cert: BLS required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room experience required
• Neuro and Ortho/Spine OR experience required
• Labor & Delivery-only experience does not qualify
• Trauma center and Ortho experience preferred
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• One professional reference required (two required for FL and MO)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Pers onto general/trauma OR cases, including ortho, neuro, robotics, general, trauma, and urology procedures
• Team-oriented environment seeking candidates with a positive attitude
• Required to change into hospital-provided scrubs each day
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
