American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Outpatient Surgery Center OR position in Tallahassee, FL, requiring at least 2 years of OR experience with a strong orthopedic background.

Details

• Outpatient surgery center setting with 6 OR rooms
• Surgical specialties include hand, foot & ankle, sports medicine, total joint replacement, spine surgery, and pain procedures
• Robotic total joint replacement is a key focus of the program
• Patient ratio is 1:1 with one OR RN and one scrub tech per room
• Documentation is paper-based
• 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, with possible overtime
• No call, nights, weekends, or holidays required
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience required
• Orthopedic surgical experience required
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Two professional references required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
